techmike
I ran across this looking for something to block or disable the ads that are so prevalent on the web these days. Try explaining to the Sweetie why there are ads on my home page for meeting 50 year old women, and Russian Brides...... Jeez. This add-on for Firefox, Adblock Plus, is free, and really works. It gets the Google ads off my home page, and even the Yahoo ads off Yahoo Mail. All of my web pages load significantly faster.
imschur
I use that too. Down side is it also blocks tracking for the stuff we do with Brownells etc. Have to manually override the settings per site.
techmike
I figured there had to be a downside.
