imschur
I noticed Sinclair has "Match" .22lr ammo here. In fact its the only .22 ammo they offer. Price wise its pretty expensive and not typical Wolf Ammo prices. Has anyone here tried either variety? All Wolf Ammunition features Vihtavouri powder in their loads. VihtaVouri also makes the premium powder that is a favorite in centerfire benchrest competition. Wolf Match Target has a 40 grain bullet and a muzzle velocity of 1,050 fps. Match Extra has a 40 grain bullet and a muzzle velocity of 1,033 fps
techmike
I have never purchased any. Worked on a .22 for a friend, and he supplied 100 rnds of match ammo for testing purposes. Don't remember the brand. Tested 5 or 6 brands of ammo thru that rifle, and the match was marginally better than the rest. Not worth the extra $$ IMO. But thru an Anschutz or similar, might make a difference. TM
