Funny you say that. Im in the process of "Checking out" with some levels for two other rifles. I wont really need one on this .22. I used one for leveling the crosshairs.
I purchased one of these to mount a Simmons 6-18x40 Pro Target Rifle .22LR Scope on my CMMG SIERRA upper. I bought it as it seemed like a great value. The down side was I wasnt fond of the picatinney's on top of the rings. Unknown to me at the time the mount is sold with standard top ring halves as well. Brownells clearly shows this now on the product page. The mount is very well made and the screws are excellent quality and of the torx variety. This mount is probably way overkill on a .22 but what the heck.
Finally got around to using this scope. I must say Im shocked at how nice it is for the money. I read one review on it and the owner slams it for poor light transmission. I dont know, that is not the case with my unit. Very bright and clear. It is much bigger than I had expected though. Adjustments are smooth and on the stiff side as they should be for exposed turrets. Perfect scope for my Sierra. If it was available in silver I would get one on my 10/22. Try to get some pictures soon.
4th most dangerous city in the US according to the FBI. It's a shame that after a few years you just expect and get used to this shit. Nearly every week I have some sort of incident
Well we had another incident. Two "Youths" robbed a house one street over. Tried to cut through my parking lot and rather than climg the fence the geniuses used a boulder to knock the planks off. A neighbor got a great description and the perps were nabbed.
