  1. Bought it off of www.budsgunshop.com , which is local to me here in Lexington, KY, so I'll pick it up tomorrow. It's used, but I think I still got a good deal for $549+tax. It came with lots of extras - You guys are already a bad influence on me..... 8)
  2. www.centerfiresystems.com carries them, and you can find them on gunbroker.com. They typically run aound $200 at centerfire. They are only abouta 30 minute drive from my house so no S&H for me. Of course then I have to pay tax. :-\
  3. Welcome aboard Asmurff!!! Glad you came over.

    Armscor AK-22

I got this over a year ago, andhave really enjoyed it. It shoots really well, and no failures with Federal bulk ammo. Only thing I hate is it only holds 10 rounds, and you can't get any mags for it with larger capacity. >:(
  5. Not a major upgrade or mod, but it will change the looks of my M&P 15-22. I should have it by weeks end. I'll try to get some pics up then.

The .44mag is brutal on the hands. Kind of why I don't have one anymore, I got tired of shooting 3-4 cylinders full and then putting it up. It really isn't a "fun" round to shoot.
  7. Glad to have you join us Gramps!

    A well rounded collection.

What!?!?!? I used to have a 5.5"Stainless Redhawk years ago and loved it. I lost my job and had to sell it to pay the bills, but always said I would get another someday. Now many years after getting back on my feet, actually better than ever, I still haven't bought another one. I did buy a Stainless 5.5" .44mag Blackhawk, but sold it as I decided that I didn't shoot it that much compared to my .357mags. Plus reloading for the .44mag still ain't cheap.
  10. I have 1 .22LR pistol. It's a Browning Buckmark blued slabside standard model. I love it. I actually am ordering a threaded barrel for it this week to add a silencer later on.
  11. If someone calls, how about posting the price and phone number here for future reference.

    Revolvers

I really like a good revolver. I do like the .357 magnums in particular, as I can shoot light .38's for cheap fun shooting, and then load up some heavy .357magnumswhen I want to test my wrists. Of course reloading makes the rounds cheap enough to still enjoy. I just loaded up about 300 .38's last night.
  14. For when you really need to reach something a long, long way off........ :o
  15. Now that's one of my "Wish List" guns. Is it as accurate as their reputation?

    Revolvers

I agree. Colt made the ultimate revolvers. I have heard rumors that Colt may someday bring the Python back. That would be awesome. I also have a pair of 6" & 4" stainless S&W 686's, and a "6 blued & a 6" stainless Ruger GP100 .357magnums, which I don't have any pictures of. I'll try to get some pics up of them some time.

    Hi-Powers

I'm a moderator for the Charles Daly forums and was in a discussion with Mike Kassnar the President of Charles Daly about Hi-Powers. I had seen a picture of this pistol once many years ago when they were going to try and market it. They actually stopped making all Hi-Powers, so this one never went into production. He told me he still had that one sitting in his office and asked me if I wanted to buy it!!! I thought about it......for like 2 seconds, wipped my credit card out and asked him how fast he could get it too me. It is very attractive in person, and my gun dealer that it was shipped too tried his best to buy it from me, offering double my money. It has never been fired, and may never be fired. But I do handle it often. ;D

    Hi-Powers

Just because I love Hi-Powers, and love to show off mine.... I always love showing off the serial number of my Charles Daly Hard Chrome Hi-Power. It's the only one ever made. [img width=800 height=600]http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff184/steel609/CD%20HiPower%20Stainless/P1010120.jpg
  22. That is sweet. You don't see many of that model, let alone the 2 tone.
  23. Great looking guns. I love the Gold Cup. I don't have one, but I will someday when I find that just right one that I just have to have.
  24. Any modifications, or is still stock?
