  16. funny i took the said person to the rifle range and he did say he had shot reloads through it and they had used a hammer to open the bolt when he had shot it last and it was a reload, my misses already knows everything as she was the one who told me that he had called wanting the money for the repair and she has spoken to another family member and they said that i have been more than reasonable offering to repair the rifle but if he refuses the offer of repair then just forget about it.

  18. yeah the person is a relative here in Texas >:( which is really a problem as for righting the person off i did a long time ago as he is a pretend friend
  19. well i have a bit of a problem and basically someone asked me to help him with a sticking bolt on a Remington 770, so i said show me so he put an empty case in it and it jammed shut and could not get the bolt to shift, well he said it happened before and he used a hammer to open it, well long story short the bolt handle came off now 2 1/2 years later he is demanding that i pay for the rifle bolt replacement and to pay for the shipping back to Remington and i phoned a gun shop and found out how much it would cost to repair and they said between $50-$70 as it is only a simple silver solder (as per how it was made in the first place) and re blue not a hard job well i phoned the guy to say i could get it fixed and the person went mad and started an argument with me and then slammed the phone down i haven't phoned the person back but just want some advice please help >:(
  20. roflmao ;D ;D :P
  21. i know what you mean about downsides the canon is a good camera i do use mine for astrophotography 5 min images x 10 or 20 depends what iam looking at,the canon range seem to render themselves a better camera for the job as the Nikon star eating software cause's a few probs but hence why i use the camera in manual mode alot my om1 spends alot of time doing long exposures with a 130mm vivitar lens on it piggyback mounted on my telescope
  22. thank you very much, i really do like living here such a laid back way of life and friendly people  that's got to be the funniest thing i have heard for a long time :thumb:
  23. its a nice lens i just wonder'd what type of lens you used to take the photos with, i have a canon rebel xt myself and i also have a Olympus OM1 and i brought an adapter ring for the canon so all my OM1 lenses now fit my canon most of the lenses i have for the OM1 have macro capability as standard and i also have brought a couple of om lenses to use on the canon as i prefer manual lenses over power lenses dont know why i just do ;D
  24. mine was a gsg AK47 as i have only ive lived in a country where it is legal to own firearms for 1 year  and its great to be here :thumb:
