What model is the spikes tactical fake can? I am getting this rifle and like the spikes price and it looks cool also! Thanks

I have ordered the full length top rail from RRAGES.com. That will eliminate the play in the cheap plastic mount. The upgrades I got for my GSG are the Classic Army B&T GSG 5 Folding Stock, Classic army RIS, Screw upgrade, HK push pin upgrade, buffer upgrade, and two extra mags. George is a great guy and he will hook you up. :thumb:

Here's an update. I called the manufacture and they said the only time they heard of this happening was when something was caught in the firing pin IE carbon. I told them this was the first time I had fired the weapon. Since then I cleaned the rifle and had it back to the range with no malfunctions. So I guess there was allot of grease or something making the firing pin malfunction.I will post back if it starts happening again. I shot close to 500 rounds through it with no problems so I think the problem is fixed. Thanks for the posts. >:D

Without the red dot installed it doesn't seem to move at all. Its just when you get something mounted it moves side to side easily. You have to physically move it. Its not so loose that it just flops around. I should be getting my upgrade parts from RRages this week so I will see whats ups when I disassemble the gun. Thanks for the post.

The diameter of the fake can is 1.25 inches. I have almost an 1.5 inches. It should fit fine as long as I have the proper thread adapter. It should look nice once I get it installed. I will post pics when I get it finished.

I am sending my trigger pack in tomorrow. Here is what Bill emailed me when I asked what he did the the trigger group. I slightly modify 2 internal springs, polish and adjust the hammer sear angles. :thumb: When I asked what the trigger pull would be this is what he replied. It averages 4.5 to 5lbs, I try to get the best pull out of it that I can. :P I hope this helps anyone thinking about doing the trigger job form Bill. I know TM should get his back sometime this week. How much did it run you? So all I need to do is contact Jody and they can make me a converter that will work? Do you know if the can will fit down inside the RIS? I have the M-16 RIS and it extends close to the end of the barrel. So I am going to have the fake can go inside the RIS for a short barrel look. Thanks for the help

Gunlovr what type of fake suppressor did you put on? Does it slide over the barrel? Did you use the barrel thread adapter to fix it to the barrel? Just wondering if the thread adapter is to large for the fake can to fit over. Thanks

I just bought a new SD rifle and the first time I had it to the range it shot fine except! On more than one occasion it wold fire two rounds with one trigger pull. I know that is not good but what could be causing it to happen? The rifle is new and I didn't clean it before I took it to the range the first time. I have since cleaned the rifle but have not had it back to the range. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hey everyone I am thinking about getting a 10/22 and wanted to get your opinions on what kind of upgrade kit or if I should leave it stock. I have looked at the Archangel and the nordic components upgrades. I know one is plastic and one is aluminum. Will either of these hold zero after disassembly? Can you use any free floating handguard on the nordic system. Any and all comments welcome, if I do it I want it to be right. Thanks

Did you get any kind of specs of what he can do to the trigger? Or is just going to be for trigger pull?

I can but I don't know what you will see from them. When you take the rifle apart and split it in half it is the plastic piece that goes in the top of the gun. It is not made of metal and once you mount a optic you can move it from side to side. I guess it wont hurt anything but I am not sure if I will have issues with keeping the sight zeroed. When I get my screw upgrade kit from RRAGES and have the rifle apart I will take photos of the plastic piece. Just didn't know if anyone else had the problem or if there was an after market piece that was better. Thanks for the reply. ;D

I got the Magpul floor plates that slide over the bottom of the magazine and they fit tight. They come in three pack and only run about 10.00 depending where you get them. And you can get them in different color options. :thumb:

I just bought one of the new GSG 522 SD rifles and mounted a red dot. Once it was mounted I noticed there was some side to side movement with the rail. :confused: I took the rail off and the rail mounts to a plastic attach point. :o Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and if so is there anyway to fix it. You can only tighten the screws so much since it mounts to plastic. Thanks

If anyone is interested you can use the m-16 RIS rail on the m-4 ops rifle. I just talked with umarex and they verified it will fit with about 4 inches of the barrel sticking out.

Another question. Will any ar-15/m-4 grip work? I like the command arms but just wondreing if any grip for a ar-15/m-4 would work? thanks
