  1. The linked ad says September but no one seems to have them in stock. I wonder if these are doomed to the same fate as the GSG, only at the hand of FN Herstal. Anyways please advise if anyone knows. Oh and if I didnt mention it I WANT ONE!!
  2. http://www.issc-austria.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4&Itemid=4 Has anyone heard whether these are gonna make it to market and when? Because I sure do want one!! :thumb:

  6. Has anyone done this to their GSG? I bought the ICS lower and I intend on upgrading my GSG5A5 once my ATF Tax Stamp is returned as approved (for SBR). I also am waiting on my new GSG5SD and I would like to put one on it as well. Just wondering if anyone has done this and if it is as easy as the video shows. I think with patience, good tools and appropriate child care to run interference with my curious 14 month old I can get it done.
  7. No sir I have not. However these GSGs are infectious and I just got another one!! GSG5SD (not 522). The neoprenes or the delrin?
  8. Madhouse, PM sent
  9. I went with the GSG5SD. It should ship out tomorow to my FFL. Got the true 5 version and not the 522. I even have a little cash left over for some tricks and treats ;D :thumb: ;D
  10. Is there anywhere or anyone who can thread my barrel? Can I buy a threaded barrel for a decent price?
  11. I am about to get a GSG5SD, and what you mention about being a loose peice is a good point. I may do the delrin buffer for my A5 version and my new SD. Thanks!!
  12. C'MON TOBY!! Vote cast!! Good luck and let us know.
  13. What is a "mandatory" tip? I thought the tip was a way of recognizing good service.
  14. YEAH!! With your new 1911

  16. I do not want to get into a debate about the juvenile system and the problems with it the parents and the judicial system. I have worked as a Drill instructor at a juvenille justice center and I have dealt with them over the 10 years I have on the road. I will agree there are problems with what I listed above, but the bottom line is where does it really all start? I believe its at home. Its taught and ingrained - respect or disrespect - all learned at home or the lack of a home!! Just yesterday I was at our local mall and amazingly and with no self respect a young girl (I refuse to say young lady), starts saying in a louder than conversational tone to her freinds "My motherf_-_in as_hole f_-kin hurts from last night", "I mean seriously that sh_t really f_-kin hurts". I was with my wife, my 7 year old and my 14 month old and we were about 10 feet in front of this girl. I turned and simply said to her to watch her mouth as I didnt want my children to grow up and act as she was. She seemed very surprised to be corrected and ducked off into the next store we passed. You know I know that being a teenager is tough and kids dont get away with alot of what we used to, but we also knew where the line was and we didnt cross it, nor was disrespecting Law or elders a thing we thought was cute, and we didnt make a practice of just acting like plain jackwagon buttheads, cause we had parents that would beat us silly!!
  17. Thanks Microgunner!! I think I have swayed back towards the GSG5SD. I have about three days of OT coming and that should get what I want and a collapsible stock to put on it. With maybe enough left to get a spare mag too ;D
  18. LMAO....
  19. Its actually an airsoft version of the AK made by ECHO1USA. Its called the "Contractors Personal Weapon". I just did a BING search and took the first one found.
  20. Okay so the shipping of the light was pretty dog gone quick!! The light takes 1 CR123 battery and is all metal. The on/off switch slides from side to side. Push it on for steady light and push it on, immediatly off and immediatley back on and this actuates the strobe function. I had to file the insides of the rail mount to get it to slide freely on my pistol's rail. I also had to dremmel the top corners of the rear off so that it would seat fully and lock into place securely. Making the mods didnt bother me, I like a challenge and making mods on gun stuff is just fun. The light is intensly bright and I think this is going to work well for street duty use. My wife angrily expressed a great dislike for the strobing light, so I geuss that works well to. And lastly it fit right onto my Streamlight M3 holder on my duty belt, so I wont have to go and find a new holder. Pics to follow once i figure out why my Blackberry wont send them >:(
  21. Its not pointed out in the picture but I also noticed a differance in the charging handle serations. I found this at AR15.com when I did a BING search for GSG SBR. It linked me to a pretty detailed page of GSG mods. Hope it helps.
  22. I ripped this off from AR15.com. Its what I used to figure it out.
  23. Rodent, Thanks thats what I was looking for - word from a knowledgeable owner. Thank-you. Imschur, I havent thought about a dedicated upper, may have to start looking. Lmao_37, WOW!! Pretty detailed strip down, huh? I actually was starting to look at a GSG AK as a possibility to. I thought about getting one and fitting it with an M4 collapsible stock and a railed front handguard. Kinda like this:
  24. Buehler? Buehler?
