  1. The best scary movie is "The Changeling". No blood and guts slasher garbage, just that kinda stuff that raises the hair up on your neck. Creepy movie. Its old, but its fantastic. Its a must watch late at night, with all the lights off, on a big screen. Oh, and Im talking about the original 1980 changeling movie....not the stupid 2008 Clint Eastwood one..
  2. I just make my own shepard's pie. I use pepperjack, and tatertots on top. Ummmmm...yummy in da tummy. LOL Those Flake candy bars are fantastic, I dont know why they dont sell em over here. Bounty bars are good too...over here they call them Mounds, but they make them with dark chocolate. Im not big on the dark chocolate.
  3. The barrels come threaded in metric....Gemtech makes the adapter, as well as a few other manufacturers.
  4. I cant wait to get mine. I ordered a tactical version with the threaded barrel. Too bad the threads arent 1/2 28, I gotta get an adapter to run the Outback II on it.
  5. No, in the UK, they have Nutella. Love that stuff. Ill take some Bangers and Mash please, and some of that Black Currant hard candies...and some Flake bars...and whatever else you got over there that we dont have here.
  6. WOW, a glock with a safety....its a miracle.
  7. Step 9 - Insert piece back into stock as shown. And slide stock back onto rifle. If the stock fits too tightly, you can trim a little more off the plastic piece. Trim in small increments. Its ok to leave the edges rough, actually it works better that way. Presto....wobbly stock fixed. If you are constantly adjusting the length of your stock, eventually the plastic piece might get worn down a bit...but it should work for quite some time. Enjoy!!!
  8. Step 8 - Use your razor saw/dremel to cut off the excess plastic. YOU WANT TO CUT IT BIGGER THAN THE MARKED LINES! You can shave it down or trim it off to fine adjust it.
  9. Step 7- Using a sharpie or grease pencil, mark off both sides of the stock.
  10. Step 6 - Insert your plastic piece into the end of the stock as shown. You kinda want a friction fit.
  11. Step 5 - Remove Stock from rifle. Depress the adjustment button, and pull down on the stock retaining pin. Then slide it off the rifle.
  12. Step 4 - Snap or cut off the tab from the end of box as shown in pic.
  13. Step 3 - Cut down other side of box.
  14. Step 2 - Use a razor saw, or dremel tool (with cut off wheel) to cut down one side of the box.
  15. Step 1 - Get an old plastic ammo box. I used a spare CCI Mini-Mag box.
  16. Guys, For those of you that arent happy with the Sig Sauer's 522 stock due to a loose fit, and wobbling issues. I have found a very easy fix for this that makes it much more solid, and doesnt involve modifying, drilling, or cutting anything on the gun. It wont make it rock solid, but it gets rid of most of the wobble. If you are a person that adjusts the length of your stock a lot, you might want to make two of the pieces so you can replace them as they get worn down. All you need is a old empty plastic CCI Mini-Mag box, and a few simple tools.
  17. Yes, Peanut Butter Burger....it sounds disgusting, but its actually QUITE tasty. Its a regular grilled burger, but with a thin condiment sized helping of peanut butter on top. If you havent tried this yet, you need to. Its similar in taste to those peanut crusted steaks you get at fancy steakhouses....just in burger form.
  18. Hopefully getting ready to vote..... :thumb: I've been at the gun store, Got a Sig Sauer Mosquito coming with the threaded barrel so I can attach my Gemtech Outback II. Review coming soon.

Ive got a S&W Sigma airsoft pistol. Im not sure who it was made by. It can run off of either green gas in the magazine, or CO2 from an external tank. With the CO2, it will put one of those plastic bbs through both sides of a soda can. They are pretty handy for plinking around the house.
  20. alex, most states ban hunting with FMJ military rounds, so lmao 37, might not have a choice but to reload. Instead of pulling the bullets (which can be a dangerous venture)....shoot them, then reload the empty brass. Its more fun that way anyway. Hornady makes some 7.62x54 bullets for reloaders interested in hunting with the Mosin Nagant. I know quite a few folks have loaded .308 and used it, and perhaps even a few with the .303 round. But I've personally never tried this, and dont know how well it works. I would think the brass might only be good for a few rounds if loaded like this.
  21. McGuire's Irish Pub in Pensacola, FL has a burger they call the "Grand". If I remember correctly, its a lb of kobe beef burger, and it comes with a magnum of fine champagne. $100 bucks. Needless to say I never tried it. But their peanut butter burger was awesome.
  22. Guys, It appears like it would be a good .22 pistol, but I wouldnt recommend converting it to .45 Look at the frame in that photo. It is a two piece frame...two halves that fit together. Launching .45 out of that frame will likely destroy it in rather quick fashion.
  23. Ive always been impressed with GEMTECH. They offer threading services as well, and their quality is tops. You could of course look locally where you live for a gunsmith. Just ask to see their previous work before you hire them for the job.
  24. You will be amazed at the difference that will make in your accuracy.
  25. I saw Joe Lieberman in the Atlanta Airport Monday....He was headed up the escalator directly in front of me. He went left, and my flight was to the right in C terminal. After I checked in, I turned around and walked back down the gates to the flight headed to Washington, so I could talk to him, but he was nowhere to be found. I dont understand how CT can have a senator that while isnt what I'd call pro-gun, isnt entirely opposed to them either, and still have those draconian gun laws.
