Awesome, that sounds like a super good idea. I wish I had though of it haha. What is the setting that you find works best? I have a tourque driver around here somewhere...just gotta find it... Thanks for the advice Larry!
Very nice work. I recently got a nordic ar22 chassis kit and threw my 10/22 in that, I also refaced the bolt and cleaned up the firing pin. Otherwise the gun is stock. After taking down the rifle and cleaning it, then reassembling I find that my zero changes (super frustrating), have you run into this issue?
I've got somewhere around 2000 rounds through mine of whatever was laying around; CCI Mini Mag, Federal Bulk, Fed Auto match, Remington Thunderbolt, Golden Bullet, Winchester, and even some old wildcat. Seemed like it ate most everything, had some issues with the golden bullet; ftf, which is the catridge, so can't blame the firearm. I've found the GSG to be very reliable, and reasonably accurate for the $390 w/spare mag, I paid for it.
I've been researching .22 dedicated uppers for a few months now and I'm still on the fence, mainly abut accuracy. What is a reasonable expectation for accuracy out of the various brands. I was going to go with a Nordic Components 17" bull barrel a few weeks back but passed up the opportunity. 50 yards, what's the average group your getting with your dedicated upper?
Hello all, stumbled across this site a couple weeks ago and been kinda lurking around looking at some of the information and most importantly the pretty pictures :) Grew up shooting .22, learning fundamentals and so forth. I like larger calibers but for the obvious expense factor we're all feeling I shoot allot of .22lr these days. Overall I'm interested in super accurate rifles and hope to do a custom build in the near future.
