txshunter
If anyone else has one of these, I am curious to know if your laser functions at all except indoors? My is only visible about 7 yards outdoors at the range.

imschur
They didnt have the laser when I bought mine. Isnt that always the way :)Hi K,fwiw I havent had a red laser that worked very well outdoors under normal sunlight. Laser bore sites even come with special reflective targets that are similar to that of laser levels.Have you contacted NcStar. Im always interested in how folks are treated by companiesMaybe NcStar should have opted for green.
txshunter
One of my buddies brought a green laser just so we could see, world of difference. I need to contact NcStar, for the money I paid this thing should shoot itself and then some!
imschur
I guy at work brought home a green laser that he "found" while in Iraq. I was floored at how well it worked outside. The down side was it was to bright indoors in total dark

txshunter
Good news is the scope is awesome for a .22 :D I took it out with my daughter and let her shoot my airsoft MP-5. I killed 3 "blackbirds" with one shot a piece! She was impressed and she loved the MP-5 ;D
txshunter
Yes, never could see the laser at the range. Other problem is it's mounted to the left of the boreline, so it's only good for one certain range shot. They should have put it over or under! txshunter
I got a reply from Rich Thomas with NcStar today. He says they're working on getting the green lasers small enough to use in their optics and the green is much better. He also says the performance that I'm experiencing is pretty typical :'(
