Photographing your guns

Ive been trying to improve my photography skills so the images on my websites wont look so crappy. A member over at FNF Texas Armadillo really got me going in the right direction with lighting and depth of field etc. Now every picture becomes a production. Im so envious of folks who have the ability to take great random pictures of their guns and gear.

Do any of you guys have any photography tips? What camera set up are you  folks using? Any other accessories? Lighting, filters, soft boxes etc?
