Michigan Joe Posted February 13, 2011 Report Posted February 13, 2011 Got a 30 round mag for the 597 vtr but it does not feed well until it only has about 18-20 rounds left. Is this something others have experienced? If so, is there a fix? My 10 round mag works great and so does this one once you get it down to 18. I wonder why 20 round clips are not popular. 20 rounds was standard combat clip when I was in. Of course we had those nice gold stripes and colorful patches on our uniforms too.
asmurff Posted February 13, 2011 Report Posted February 13, 2011 This is just a guess, I've had magazines for other rifles or pistols which seemed to need time for the springs to break-in or something.
