Glowin
Hi guys,I've been shooting for a while but have to admit my knowledge of how a rifle works is limited which is why I need your help.Over here in the UK I'd be looking at about $3000 for an AR-15 with a dedicated .22 upper so to spread costs I was thinking that I might be able to make my own by buying parts and putting them together over a period of time. So my question is would any lower receiver work with a dedicated .22 upper? Thanks guysGlowin
Microgunner
Any mil-spec AR-15 lower should work. Be aware, there are non mil-spec lower recievers. Some Colts come to mind.
Microgunner
Glowin, I just realized your computer has the US/Canadian dollar symbol on it's keyboard yet my computer doesn't have the British pound sterling symbol on it's keyboard, or the symbols for any other currency for that matter. Boy, are we self involved or what?
Glowin
Cheers Microgunner. No point having the £ sign on your computer anyway, everything over here is overpriced and you probably can't buy it here anyway!I really fancy one of those Head Down Products XPR lower receivers in flat dark earth with a traditional black coloured upper. I just think it looks awesome. I've just got to find someone that sells them over here now. Think my chances will be slim to none.Glowin
