Kuppster Posted May 2, 2011 Report Share Posted May 2, 2011 Hey guys!I bought a 522 about 3 weeks ago, and I have already put 2000 rounds through it. I have been cleaning it after I shoot about 500 rounds. Is that about the right time to clean it? If not, then when do I know that it needs to be clean other than the fact that there is grit everywhere. I only clean the bore when it affects my accuracy. Is this a good rule of thumb to live by?
