Fun little combo plinking sight setup for the 795

I purchased this little 795 from Bud's Guns a few months ago just as an Appleseed rifle for the son of a co-worker to use at an Appleseed event.  Paid less than $145 total including the $20 FFL transfer fee with the Bud's free shipping and a Marlin $25 rebate. I added Tech sights for the Appleseed and then decided I would mount an inexpensive BSA red dot I had in the parts bins. It has work out really well as a fun plinking setup. The red dot sights make for really quick target acquisition I you can quickly remove them and use the aperture sights if I choose to. Unfortunately the Tech sights will not co-witness through the red dot (red dot sits too high on the scope rail) but its still a nice versatile sight setup for this fun plinker.

Looks like a fun set-up. I have a Marlin 925 bolt-action I like to plink with.
