Yeah, the golden bullets are junk.

I've run a ton of Centurion ammo through my .22's, it has always performed really well.  It's stamped with the Aguila logo, so I guess it's made at the same place.

I'm about to pick up an HK 416D in .22LR. The manual and videos that cover field stripping show that the bolt assembly is not removable, and they discourage any serious strip down of the rifle. As such, I want to feed it CLEAN ammo. Aquila seems to have a reputation for being filthy and requiring extensive cleaning of one's weapon after firing. CCI is going to be my ammo brand until and unless something better comes along.  C:-)
