Rear site elavation knob factory trouble & fix

No human alive could turn the knob! the efforts were certainly funny enough, so gunsmith says "send it back". I had it off the gun, turned it over and saw small hole right under the "detent pin". I ask gunsmith for paper clip, stuck it in very tight hole, prodded & poked (had flashback to age 15) and Bam! fixed & works great. Just curious if anyone else had had this 15/22 issue?http://tactical22.net/forum/Smileys/default/thumb.gif

I don't think I've eveer tried to turn mine.  I'm going to dig it out of the safe and check right now.

I'm 99% certain mine have never been turned, and I had no trouble turning them.  First I've heard of this.
