Microgunner
It comes with a 9mm barrel, 12lb recoil spring & 9mm extractor in the box for conversion to 9mm.The recoil spring installed with the .22TCM barrel is only 7lbs. It feels like a .22lr conversion in terms of energy required to retract the slide. A 4 year old could do it.Loads 18+1 in .22TCM & 17+1 in 9mm.No .22TCM ammo was available. I hope it's not a sign of things to come.
Microgunner
Just installed the 9mm conversion. What a pain! The instructions say that the extractor will need to be fitted by a gunsmith and they weren't lying.Took me 1.5 hours to fit the extractor, but it's done and installed. Microgunner
It's a reasonably handsome pistol and the slide and trigger are smooth and hitch free.

Microgunner
To me the grips were really letting this pistol down so I ordered replacements.Didn't want wood because they cannot be made thin enough to suit me on this double stack 1911.I ordered black, checkered Alumi-Grips.They are very thin and look pretty good. Microgunner
I contacted Fred Craig, the pistol's designer in NV and he said he could fix me up with ammo. I may order some from him.He also told me that the 22 Micromag and the 22TCM (Tuason Craig Micromag) have a different shoulder profile.Mr Craig is the designer of both cartridges.
