Microgunner Posted December 23, 2011 Report Posted December 23, 2011 I have recently purchased a RIA 22TCM wide body 1911. I like the pistol but the grips seemed to be letting the pistol down a bit. After some interweb searching I discovered that no one lists grips for the wide body RIA. But in my search I discovered a couple of threads where posters stated that the Para grips just drop right on this new pistol. They don't, but are close and with some fitting I'll be able to use them and that's about the best I can say about the situation. The grips I purchased are Alumi-Grip, checkered black. The grips look very well made and serviceable.
imschur Posted December 24, 2011 Report Posted December 24, 2011 where do they differ from the para's?
Microgunner Posted December 24, 2011 Author Report Posted December 24, 2011 The spread between the screws is very slightly shorter and the left grip doesn't even come close to fitting around the plunger tube.
