Computer tech question

I picked up a Dell D620 laptop in great shape, Core2Duo, 1.5GB RAM -- I'm actually on it right now.

Here's the situation:  I got it with a fried mobo, so I picked up a fresh one online.  It was my first foray tearing down a laptop, and it was a job and a half!  Anyway, all went well, and obviously, SHE'S ALIVE.

However, when I boot up, I get:

****PROCESSOR MICROCODE UPDATE FAILURE****

THE REVISION OF THE PROCESSOR IN THE SYSTEM IS NOT SUPPORTED

PRESS F1 TO CONTINUE' date=' F2 TO ENTER SETUP[/quote']

I'm getting ready to start a hard-target search for a bios update, but wondered if anybody could assist.

Hardware:

Processor: Intel Core2Duo, Merom, socket 479 mPGA

Mobo: Dell Inc, model OTD761

Bios: Dell Inc, A04, 08/28/2006
