JA Ciener mags in my RIA XT22

I own two JA Ciener 15-shot aluminum magazines I bought for my Kimber Rimfire Target.

Tried them in my new RIA XT22 without a single malfunction.

They also work perfectly in my Kimber.

So these are all based on the Colt Ace mags?

No, completely different.

I dragged out a Colt Ace magazine and although they'll lock right into the Kimber & RIA and vice versa the cartridges are located in a different position within the mag.

The Colt mags place the rounds at the front of the mag and the Kimber/RIA mags place the rounds at the rear of the mag.

If you put the loaded Kimber mag into the Colt the rounds will make the jump into the chamber, at least while hand cycling the slide, but,  if you place a loaded Colt mag into the Kimber/RIA the bullet comes up underneath the feed ramp with zero chance of feeding.

Interesting. I wonder what the Marvel system uses. They state everything is based off the Ace
