As suggested by Gramps I did a few searches on m4carbine.net The lads there appear pretty well split and loyalties are strong with both uppers. Being more interested in the Spikes I was interested to read that a Spikes upper works best with a Spikes lower. Some of the chaps were reporting feeding problems if they mixed and matched.

I would like to see a Spikes lower being sold with a .22lr, .223 and .308 uppers (straight pull for the UK market) That would be one nice collection.

Spikes are doing a straight pull 223 for the UK market I got them to do some for me and I,ve just had another orderd yesterday

I have to say that I,ve not had any problems with the spikes 22 uppers on any other lowers apart from the SGC ones here in the UK

I LOVE my Tactcal Solutions upper. The machining is superb and functioning is perfect. I use a Gemtech suppressor on mine and it's a blast to shoot. Simply the best!!  :thumb:

Ive been on the fence between spikes and Tacsol.  Spikes offers a lothar barrel upgrade and tacsol I believe uses sleeves which can be quite accurate in .22's

What kind of accuracy are you getting?

I braved the heat this afternoon and took my TacSol suppressed AR to the range for a little fun. This is definitely my favorite rifle now. Quiet, accurate and a blast to shoot. And the neat thing is that within 30 seconds my AR can be put back in the .223 mode. It's always a crowd pleaser.
