Red Dot

I have my new Colt and haven't fired a single round yet, but am thinking about upgrading the sights to a Red Dot.  This is a low budget build so I am looking for a recommendation on an inexpensive Red Dot scope for my baby.  Anyone here have a recommendation?

two things, 1. not sure if you are aware, but it can be used with your iron sights, and 2. for a quality red dot on the cheap, I suggest these two

I have the Bushnell on my .308 ar carbine and it's held zero for 250 rds so far, the other hasn't been mounted yet but I have many friends who swear by them for an inexpensive(note:not cheap) red dot
