Our gun club is out about 12 miles from civilization in cattle country on dirt roads. On the way back, by one of the watering holes there were a group of cattle, so I slowed down in case any of them should bolt across the road. Also drinking from the watering hole was a elk doe. By the time I stop and hopped out to take her picture (with my phone) she had hi-tailed it into a draw. RATS, I'd have loved to have her picture.
