Just because I love Hi-Powers, and love to show off mine....

I always love showing off the serial number of my Charles Daly Hard Chrome Hi-Power. It's the only one ever made.

How did you end up with the Daly?

I'm a moderator for the Charles Daly forums and was in a discussion with Mike Kassnar the President of Charles Daly about Hi-Powers. I had seen a picture of this pistol once many years ago when they were going to try and market it. They actually stopped making all Hi-Powers, so this one never went into production. He told me he still had that one sitting in his office and asked me if I wanted to buy it!!!

I thought about it......for like 2 seconds, wipped my credit card out and asked him how fast he could get it too me. It is very attractive in person, and my gun dealer that it was shipped too tried his best to buy it from me, offering double my money.

It has never been fired, and may never be fired. But I do handle it often.  ;D

I just bought another one - That makes 6. My son thinks I'm trying to get as many HP's as 1911's. I don't see that happening.

Nah, another used one. This one only had 200 rounds through it. The guy said it is spotless. I got it even cheaper than the one i got last week!!!
