The RIA 22TCM pistol shoots like a dream. It's an A2 double stack and holds 18+1 rounds.

It's very accurate and easy to shoot with a mild recoil impulse.

The recoil spring is ridiculously lightweight making the slide easy enough for a three year old to rack, yet the 40grn slug delivers more energy than 45ACP.

Wear hearing protection, the report is ear splitting.

I have to order ammo but it's readily available for $18 per 50 HP.

Only one ammo manufacturer though, Armscor.

I have a Sig P238, nice mini 1911, except no grip safety. It is one of my favorite pistols - great shooter. Another one to consider is the Llama .380. I have had 3 Llamas, all 1911 style pistols in 9mm, all worked great. I keep seeing the .380 Llamas on Gun Broker, and drool a bit.
