techmike
It wasn't actually too bad.... except that my .223 brass melted in when it hit the ground, then quickly froze. Had to chip it out with a screwdriver.

techmike
It kinda was cold. But I forgot to show you all why I went out there - built this, or re-built it, over the Holidays, and just had to try it out.Old upper & lower, but with a 3.5 # CMC trigger, new chrome lined, mid-length heavy 1in7 barrel, new 15" UTG hand guard, micro gas block, new gas tube, new stock and scope. Same old fart shooting, but I am real happy with the results. It did real well with 55gn Tula ammo, even better with 62gn commercial reloads. Will be working up my own loads when it gets just a bit warmer outside.
