imschur Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 I found the statement below on the Black Dog Machine Website. This was a smart move making the Sig 522 compatible with standard Ciener/261 based magazinesALL OF OUR STANDARD AR15.22 MAGS WILL WORK WITH THE SIG522
Madhouse Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 I picked up 2 extra Black Dog mags yesterday when I got the 522lr. I would imagine Black Dog makes the mags for SigSauer, because they're absolutely identical, aside from the SigSauer stamp versus the Black Dog stamp.
imschur Posted March 29, 2010 Author Report Posted March 29, 2010 I think the mags i bought from you were Black Dogs ;D

a|ex Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 update:the webstore i ordered it from had bad reviews and now i know why. nevertheless, after contacting them on the phone, i canceled the order. but i did received my cmmg .22 mags from a different webstore. it's gray and feels much more massive than the factory blackdog.i've seen them as low as $14.55 but again, that webstore also had bad reviews. mine were $20.00 (x4) from luckygunner and arrived in 3 days. i'm thinking about ordering 4 more. it's just too much fun.i also had a chance to examine the blackdog 50 round drum at a local gun show. it was very tempting but i just didn't like how it looks on a sig 522. they were selling them for $80.00-a|ex
