imschur
Took out the mountain bike today for the first time in two years. The bike was terrified of my much heavier ass but eventually I was able to mount her her....She wore me out and my ass will never be the same. imschur
wtf its all flat :P
lmao_37
yeah its flat down here, i have modded my mountain bike quite a bit its a barracuda thriller frame with a gull wing swinging arm it has a shockworks airjet air sprung rear shock , suntour xcm fully adjustable forks, shimano rapid fire shifters, shimano cable front and rear disc brakes and i have gear'd it with 7 speed racing bike gears, i built it in the uk and shipped it over i built it for trail riding and gear'd it for the flat so i get some good speed cross country in the higher gears the gear ratio's are slightly different as low gears have 1 or 2 less teeth but the high gears have a lot less i think 7th gear has 9 teeth and the suspension takes a good beating when iam out in the country :thumb:
imschur
ha ha I tricked out my bike as well. Stupid $1800 cost me like $4000 by the time I was done with upgrades and tools. The letters XTR must be expensive to print, because you know they dont cost much more to make. The bike is a Gary Fisher Sugar 3 DiskI have Marzocchi Forks, Cane Creek AD5 shock, the swingarm is carbon fiber, Hayes hydraulic disks, XTR Cranks, pedals, chainrings, shifts etc...anyhow you get the deal
lmao_37
yeah i know what you mean well i brought the bike on used online it cost 100 pounds and the rest of it was 400 pounds the only things i haven't changed is the seat, handle bars and brake levers i destroy mountain bike i jump them and i use to ride across the yorkshire dales and snapped 2 frames so i dont spend a small fortune on them but the barracuda frame is stong and i hope it lasts, i use to work in a bike shop we made a bike for someone and it cost 5000 pounds in parts alone and he brought in a frame it was a really nice bike and light but not what i would spend
imschur
Gary Fisher had a lifetime warranty on frames...I fairly heavy and was concerned about the carbon fiber holding up to my heavy ass
