some of that type of ammo will make a mess of your gun with the lacquer on the cases and accuracy can bite the weenie. I mostly buy the various lake city stuff here or PMC here They shoot well with no side effects.
I warn people about Ciener but this guy is real unhappy. I have people tell me that they drove to the Ciener facilty and could see folks working and nobody would answer the door. You will also notice the big boys no longer carry his products now that there is other offerings.
we got there during a huge mayfly hatch the fish were full. We caught some trout but we usually do better. There were so many flies they were landing on us and our lines. It was like Pearl Harbor with birds
Cyclone, if you havent shot a .44 mag before the group brings up a valid point regarding recoil. I have a Redhawk in .44 mag, when i bring it to the range very seldom can I get through a box of ammo. That includes asking everyone around me to shoot it. Not trying to discourage just want to be sure you know what your getting into. On the flip side shooting at metal plates is a blast. Where centerfire rifle .308 blast through and .45's dribble off without barely a dent the .44 mag mangles, twist's and destroys satisfying my destructive inner child. KABOOOOOOOM!!!
