A website reported that a bunch of top management at Bushmaster were canned. Later in the day the Freedom Group said the report was untrue....interesting. Then theres the rumor of a large AR manufacturer laying off a bunch of workers. It all sounds fishy to me.

I drive by the Marlin plant often. I always ponder how strong the demand is for their products. I dont follow them closely but they dont seem to be keeping up with the times. Their products are still geared towards hunters and maybe youths with the semi auto .22's. Theres no diversity or branching out. I wonder how many 30-30's they ship now compared to 20 years ago? Hunting by many reports is also on a decline.

Yeah it was surprisingly fun. We were at a pretty short range, maybe 30ft or so shooting targets on hay bails.

Wow I didnt know these guys were still around. They are a local company. 10 years ago or so I demo'd a few of the Arrow rifles. I believe one was an AR-15 and the other a bolt action.

The guy taking my money implied I was a sucker. Seriously :confused:
