Perhaps they arent grasping that its a dedicated .22. Ive been at indoor ranges with my AR-15 and wished to use a .22 conversion kit. Everyone was real nervous about me accidentally switching back to centerfire. In the end I always got to use it but not without several people verifying the conversion unit was in place. a .22lr is a .22lr regardless of the delivery system. Did they give you an explanation?
Thats friggin awesome. I saw some FN's done kind of like that at the FNforum but they lacked the texture. Wow just wow. Feel free to start another thread and display more of your work. I dont mind you plugging your business.
So for kicks I placed this on the 10/22 section of one of my other sites and I added some tracking. Results: Almost every visitor to that page clicked the link

Hey Cyclone, for the die portion you might want to experiment on some scrap stock of the correct diameter. It can be a little tricky getting the threads straight by hand. I would suspect guys who thread muzzles either thread it directly with threading tools meant for a lathe or have a setup in the lathe to keep the die straight and square to the muzzle. Do you have the capability to turn the barrel to the correct diameter?
