Man thats a bummer. This has been on my wish list for a while. Are these just as expensive as their centerfire counterparts? Before purchasing yours had you seen or handled other ones. Im wondering if you got a lemon or this is the standard with these. Do you have any pictures to share? Thanks for joining and posting.
The person who owns these two guns is upgrading from carrying either a Beretta Bobcat 21, NAA or a Bersa .22 Im trying to get in into a 1911 one caliber at a time.
Battery life is very long in many of these. I have had on old Tasco PDP4 on my Colt AR-15 carry handle for years. For me it was about speed at the time I purchased it. I have a C-more on my FS2000 and just got an Eotech 557 AR223 for my birthday. In fact my avatar is a picture of the reticle. The 3 dots are calibrated for bullet drop. The big circle is for speed and naturally the small ones are for accuracy. I through some info on the web about it at my Combatrifle web site
Like the title says. It doesnt have to be shooting related. For shooting sites I spend a little time at the FN Forum with Madhouse. I also troll a little at AR15 Armory . I will also occasionally post at Cabelas. I really enjoy AR15 Armory as they are very friendly and tolerant to noobs unlike some other sites. I spend some time at a few guitar and music forums Gearpage,Triumphmusic.com Most of my time is working on my own sites though
Vista can be mostly ok once you turn off the annoying stuff. Its been very stable for me. On the negative it has a few infuriating features like not remembering the last saved path. Every time I save a file I must drill through every directory. Not sure if its common to my Vista or a quirk of my system. Either way W7 is what Vista was supposed to be. Users will be a little confused by the new interface much like Office 2007. They fixed what wasnt broken.
Any of you guys moving to Windows 7 when its released? I ran the betas for a while and liked it. Its still very vista like though imo. I pre ordered my copy from Amazon when MS offered the special pricing.
Well I added it all up today. The rifle as pictured including the trigger and 4 magazines. $2060.26 I still need optics, bipod and BUIS if theyll fit There was an additional $180 in tools to complete this.
