We no longer get normal showers. Everything is violent

I have one 5.56 that can have a threaded muzzle. The 762 SD is for a 300 Blackout upper for the same lower as the 5.56
-
hmmm I never thought to read the package ;D

Fondled this setup today. I like it a lot. The picture doesnt do a good job for size perspective. Ive shot a P22 in the past and enjoyed it.

now you understand my silence ;D

crap I ordered another suppressor....I didnt see that coming AAC M4 2000
-
The suppressors are at my dealer. Will do the ATF paperwork tomorrow. While there Im probably going to order a 1911 frame for my Wilson/Marvel slide. I have been on the edge between Caspian and Wilson. Wilson is the way I want it but the Caspian will let me have a custom serial number which means a lot to me right now. Anyhow if nothing goes wrong I should have my tax stamps by Christmas. Depending on how much some recent Vet bills are I may have to wait until October for the Model 41 threaded barrel from Clark Custom.

You and Madhouse need to hit the range together ;D

I'm pleased as punch to have further interaction with you buddy.

This is one of the reasons centerfire and target rifles free float barrels. Nothing to influence the barrel. A sling mounted to a small diameter barrel can easilt change point of impact. This is why free float hanguards are so popular with AR-15 shooters. The bipod would mount to the handguard with zero influence on the barrel

Hey Cracker7, does your friend own one that you can try? If so see if you can borrow it. Get it out in all lighting conditions and see if it appeals to you. Go through the motions of changing the battery. Is it easy? Does it seem like it will hold up? I suggest going to a store and fondling some sights. If you are shooting a few times a month the TG is probably fine. If your a heavy duty shooter I suggest looking at all your options before dropping your cash. Tru Glo, Osprey, Barska, NCStar, Konus are all at the extreme low end with these sights. In fact I wouldnt be surprised if they were all from the same factory or made from the same parts just mashed together a little different. Not trying to be negative or disagree with your friend. I just want you to be informed :thumb:
-
In general with any Tru Glo you are getting what you pay for. I wouldnt call them well made. They are typical asian buid quality made to a price point. They are serviceable and will probably last you for a while. Build quality will vary. I think if you get one from someplace with a decent return policy youll be ok. Make sure the knob and battery door function properly. If they dont return it for another unit. Better still find one on a store shelf and cherry pick it. I think these things retail for $85

I found WABCO had a lot of patents for clamping devices. Problem was I could only see tiny thumbnail images as the site wasnt working correctly
-
How about a few bucks more and get a Millet DMS-1 Its a scope and a dot. I think it's ideal on .22's and AR-15's
-
Well I figured out WABCO "Westinghouse Air Brake Company" and "Westinghouse Automatic Brake Company"

CMMG SIERRA .22LR Dedicate Upper - Flawless
imschur replied to imschur's topic in AR-15,M16 .22LR Dedicated Uppers
As I stated previosly I have the original bolt. It's based on the Atchisson/Ciener design. It looks like a conversion kit without the .223 cartridge/chamber portion. The other stuff is neat but I prefer the simplicity and a non propriety system. -

Well you have an AR-15 now and your considering a .22 upper for it. Reversed your considering An AR-15 that's a dedicated .22. So applying the logic from the original AR-15 at some point you will look to have a new centerfire upper for your dedicated .22. It was a bad attempt at humor -

Of course now the price has risen to the point where you can just about buy two Sigs, Colts or Smiths ;D The Quebec is a great price for any AR. Of course you know youll buy a centerfire upper at some point if you go that route -
Pretty impressive.

Unfortunately while i have shot my CMMG a bunch with black dog magazines I simply cant recall if the bolt stays open. As that is not important to me. Later or tomorrow Ill throw the upper on an AR and verify unless Microgunner chimes in first. -

Honestly this BOHA and these other products are a very new product from CMMG. There is no historical data. The version I have is older, simpler. I actually like that because it's closer to the original common design from the likes of the early Atchisson, CMMG, Ciener, Spikes etc. -
