I bought 2200 rounds of .22lr this week at Sports Authority. The guy had just gotten 3 cases of it in.

I talked to my mom yesterday morning, made sure she went in town to stay with my brother last night, she's 79 and lives pretty remote out in the woods. Here, well it's a brisk 55 this morning, but the sun is coming out and we are supposed to see 77 degrees...

Yup, checked my receipt, they only scanned three boxes.

So I ventured out at lunch to Academy and Sports Authority to see what they have in the way of ammo. Not much, obviously, but when I got to Sports Authority the guy behind the counter was talking to a couple of guys so I looked at the shelves and didn’t see anything. Just before I turned to walk away I heard him tell them, “Look what I just got! .22 ammo!” He had a hand truck with 3 cases of Winchester 555-round boxes, 36gr plated HP. I asked him what they cost, he said $24.99, I said give me four please. I got rung up at the register and it came to $81 and change, I think they only scanned three boxes. :beer:

You will probably not have this issue with regular ammo. Certainly an adjustment will be needed to compensate for subsonics.

I haven't tried this, but IMO the factory stock on the 416 is the coolest of all the tactical rimfires.
