  1. How many rooms do you have :o
  2. Sad to say but I suspect they won't go do either.
  3. I could never get use to the DST either after I started having health problems I'd be worn out all summer.
  4. I just showed my Sci-Fi Lovely Geekette this and I think I'm gonna have to get her one for her will it fit on a XD .45acp.
  5. There is always a guy at the local gun shows with the old .22 ammo boxes, some with rounds some without. Some of them get quit pricey.
  6. I haven't found one, one of the moderators over at 1911.org posted that picture and said the price hasn't been set yet. After the pistol comes out there is suppose to be a conversion kit also.
  7. I don't know how large they are, or how wide spread. They're a wantabe Cabelas, but have a long long way to go.
  8. Yelp you'll fit right in, glad you joined.
  9. Armscor is coming out with a 1911 .22 late this year, however even thought the lower will be all 1911 the upper is going to be open like the Beretta 92 or M9
  10. The buy out of Sportsman and closing of so of the stores was done very badly, the employees knew they might lose their jobs for a very long time before they decided on which stores they were closing not exactly the environment to foster good customer service. The one here is pretty good, or maybe I just go in enough to be recognized.
  11. They've got a pretty cool logo.
  12. I was in Sportsmans Warehouse yesterday and for the first time in over a year and a half they had small & large pistol primers, small, large & magnum rifle primers and shotgun primers.
  13. Hey isn't that the name of a rock group? Great looking collection, not that I know a thing about guitars. My sole musical talent is pushing the power button on the stereo.
  14. Its getting to be fun, now that I think I've gotten the quirks of this Lee Pro 1000 figured out. Over the weekend I finished decapping all my 9mm brass and running them thru the cleaner I believe I've about 600 more rounds to make. Then I'll get busy on the .45acp.
  15. Having spent 21 years dealing with Mil Specs, I can honestly say the military will almost always go one step passed what is trully necessary. Everything has a torgue and very often we had to mark across set screws with a marker or stencil so anyone looking at the item after assembly would know the screw hadn't loosened.
  16. that is sort of what I planned on doing, or putting the crinkled ones in the barrel at the gun club tha they burn every so often
  17. My foray into reloading has been going quite well, I've reloaded over 200 rounds of 9mm Luger which is incredibly accurate. Of course during the learning process I had about a dozen rounds with problems from bullet seating adjustments, primers not fully seated, and a couple of crinkled cartridges. So today I bought a bullet puller and pull all the bullets and recovered the power. My question is what do I do with the cases with the primers still in them, I assume I can't safely deprime them and will just have to destroy them, is that correct?
  18. 1. WILL THE REAL DUMMY PLEASE STAND UP? AT&T fired President John Walter after nine months, saying he lacked intellectual leadership. He received a $26 million severance package. Perhaps it's not Walter who's lacking intelligence. 2. WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM OUR FRIENDS: Police in Oakland , CA spent two hours attempting to subdue a gunman who had barricaded himself inside his home. After firing ten tear gas canisters, officers discovered that the man was standing beside them in the police line, shouting, 'Please come out and give yourself up.' 3. WHAT WAS PLAN B??? An Illinois man, pretending to have a gun, kidnapped a motorist and forced him to drive to two different automated teller machines, where the kidnapper proceeded to withdraw money from his own bank accounts. 4. THE GETAWAY! A man walked into a Topeka , Kansas Kwik Stop and asked for all the money in the cash drawer. Apparently, the take was too small, so he tied up the store clerk and worked the counter himself for three hours until police showed up and grabbed him. 5. DID I SAY THAT??? Police in Los Angeles had good luck with a robbery suspect who just couldn't control himself during a lineup. When detectives asked each man in the lineup to repeat the words: 'Give me all your money or I'll shoot', the man shouted, 'that's not what I said!' 6. ARE WE COMMUNICATING??? A man spoke frantically into the phone: 'My wife is pregnant and her contractions are only two minutes apart'. 'Is this her first child?' the doctor asked. 'No!' the man shouted, 'This is her husband!' 7. NOT THE SHARPEST TOOL IN THE SHED! In Modesto , CA , Steven Richard King was arrested for trying to hold up a Bank of America branch without a weapon. King used a thumb and a finger to simulate a gun. Unfortunately, he failed to keep his hand in his pocket. (hellooooooo)! 8. THE GRAND FINALE!!! Last summer, down on Lake Isabella, located in the high desert, an hour east of Bakersfield, CA, some folks, new to boating, were having a problem.... No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't get their brand new 22 foot boat going. It was very sluggish in almost every maneuver, no matter how much power they applied. After about an hour of trying to make it go, they putted into a nearby marina, thinking someone there may be able to tell them what was wrong. A thorough topside check revealed everything in perfect working condition The engine ran fine, the out-drive went up and down, and the propeller was the correct size and pitch. So, one of the marina guys jumped in the water to check underneath. He came up choking on water, as he was laughing so hard. NOW REMEMBER, I'M NOT MAKING THIS UP... Under the boat, still strapped securely in place, was the trailer!
  19. The video would be cool. Do to the dryness here none of the ranges will allow tracer ammo.

  21. When I wasin the Air Force and stationed in Clovis, NM Lubbock was our party town. We never worked passed noon on Fridays, then a quick change into civvies, into Scotties van and off to the races. Very nice place.
