  1. Most problems can be solved by the proper application of high explosives. >:D Although I doubt it would do much for job security.
  2. That is the one I'm saving my pennies for, the original one is much to stiff.
  3. I didn't think the steel or aluminum was reloadable but being a novice figured I'd let one of you say it. TM which Lee do you have?
  4. I got this video awhile back but not the link and never could figure out how to post it. It is hilarious!!!!!!
  5. That is a pretty neat collection! Do you have keys for all or only some?
  6. The scroll sawing is pretty easy to learn, I haven't had time to learn some of the more intricate stuff though.
  7. When I started reloading last year I was told to start with the book "The ABC's of Reloading" Borders, Barnes & Noble and Amazon all carry it. I can only comment on one brand as it is the only one I've used. I have a Lee Pro 1000 which can be ordered pre-setup for an individual caliber. It cost less than $300. With additional dies it will reload all pistol loads and .223, it will not reload rifle ammo. It is an effective reloader, but can be frustating in set up and use because the documentation leaves lots of room for improvement. The extras like the automatic bullet feeder and case feeder are in my opinion problematic and I took mine off and perform those operations by hand. Other companys you'll want to research before you decide are Dillion, RCBS, Hornady. I'm sure some of the guys who know more about these things than I will jump in here with more info.
  8. that sucks!!!!

  11. I thought I was the only one who saw that contradiction

  18. Back in the day of single parenting I belonged to a Single Parents group while stationed in Spain. We decided to have a New Years Eve party at one of the members home overlooking all of Madrid, which has wonderful fireworks displays all over the city. The ladies whose home it was at ask if several of us could help get things ready including making a meal for all who would come. So we showed up early to help her clean and cook, and alcohol was involved. For the meal we made Garlic Chicken, the recipe gave you the option of putting the garlic at one of three places in the process depending on how strong you wanted it. Well the alcohol over-road the proper reading of the recipe and we put the garlic in at all three places! To this day Vampires are afraid to enter Madrid and none of us in attendance have ever been bitten by one.
  19. LOL I made seafood Paella for New Years once, cost me 117 dollars with all the seafood I put in it, it was very good and cheaper than feeding the 6 of us so not to bad really.

  21. Glad you joined us. BTW great picks for a learner, once he masters that bolt action 7mm, he'll never have problems mastering any other type rifle.
  22. Here it is, hope you like. BTW my wife counts my making this for her while we were dating as one of the hook setters, not that I planned it that way >:D> 594_dfdb9b2bf0d94abcf1ad520b984248871aad48ee.doc
  23. I can understand that I spent several years working 2nd shift also.
  24. I also like to cook, learned from necessity as I was a single parent from when my kids were 8 and 10 till they left home. My favorite dish is Grilled Asian Cornish Hens. It is my show off meal when family comes to visit. It uses asian flavor to enhance the cornish hens, portobello mushrooms, asparagus and yukon gold potates and can be made on the grill or in the oven/broiler in the winter. If anyone is interested I'll type it up and attach it later.
  25. NSSF produced this video on ARs as hunting rifles and since I know several of you are build AR style rifles I thought I'd put the link here.
