Fall here in New mexico the culprit is chamiso a fall bloomer, if you're allergic to ragweed you'll be to this also. I do better in fall than spring though

I'm going shooting in the morning while my wife goes to the orientation at the gun club. I'm going to take my 1911s and my Marlin .22.

Hopefully it will get a good enough hold to keep it going even if ammo prices go back down.

I've not tried Fiocchi in .22 but use it in both my Beretta 92FS and my Charles Daly tactical shotgun. It is very good ammo and I've never had a problem.

Don't forget to mark your calendars. As you may already know, it is a sin for a Muslim male to see any woman other than his wife naked. He must commit suicide if he does. So, next Saturday at 4 PM Eastern Time, all American women are asked to walk out of their house completely naked to help weed out any neighborhood terrorists. Circling your block for one hour is recommended for this anti-terrorist effort. All patriotic men are to position themselves in lawn chairs in front of their house to prove they are not Muslims and to demonstrate they think its okay to see nude women other than their wife and to show support for all American women. Since Islam also does not approve of alcohol, a cold 6-pack at your side is further proof of your anti-Muslim sentiment. I spent the morning resighting-in my Lethal Plinker after I replaced the el cheapo scope rings with good Weaver mounts and rings. Wish I'd done this along time ago. Lovely morning to be out at the range.

I also belong to a gun club, also very informal except during scheduled events. Hours are great sun-up to sun-down. We have a pistol range, plus 4 close in pistol bays. For rifles we have a sight-in range, two regular rifle ranges out to 100 yards, one range out to 600 yards and 1000 yard range because the Marine Reserves train at our club. For shotguns we have trap, skeet, sporting clays, patterning and wobble ranges. Their is also an archery area, IDPA area and Cowboy areas. The club also offers lots of training such as the Range Safety Officer and other NRA course. I want to get involved in the IDPA and have talked to several members who tell me it's okay to walk through the stages and several older members do (I have a bad ticker).

Yelp the P3AT was only $300, just low on my priority list this fall.

Naw, but I did pick up my 1911A1 Citadel 3-1/2" from the gunsmith after he put an ambidextrous safety on it for me. The safety was a Cylinder and Slide, and while I've figured out how to convert most actions to a south-paws method, this is one that was always awkward. The new safety is great. Now I have the 5" 1911A1 to convert. BTW I'm going shooting Tuesday, tomorrow I have a doctors appointment. May sneak in an extra day in this week also, I always try to go to the range at least once a week. Didn't get there at all last week >:(

Hey that works for me. This is my latest addition Citadel (Armscor) 1911 3-1/2 barrel.

I haven't looked at the Kahr but was looking at the KelTec just the other day, but decided it could wait until springtime since I don't need one that small during the fall and winter. My question is why are you replacing it? I'll also look at the other to mentioned here.

The gun store I use has always had some ammo but their shelves are full again. they are very aggressive in ordering their stock. Our Wally world has a moron in the hunting and fishing area so it's always poorly stocked. Big 5 and Sportsman's Warehouse are having more on their shelve also. Still haven't seen any Federal Bricks though.

I'm such a leftie in a right handed world that when given the chance to shoot a leftie Howa .223 bolt action I couldn't hit squat because the action of working the bolt was so weird and the cant on the stock total threw off my timing.

Is bore snake a generic term or are you speaking of a specific brand?
