I have a HiVis on my Browning Buckmark and it does help me pick up the front sight faster even in road daylight. Don't see why it wouldn't work. Not to bad of a price to take a chance.

That place where you can bid on items online has an Assault Weapon up for bid. Actually it is a caveman's assault weapon i.e. a rock the bidding is now up to $107.50. >:D

Since both are veterans, maybe it doesn't make much difference in the long run. Except I get a check every month whether I get out or not. It is funny because my wife is an Air Force veteran and she thinks it doesn't mean as much, but I've told her you made the commitment most don't.

It was nice enough today for me to go to the range. Our gun club is out about 12 miles from civilization in cattle country on dirt roads. On the way back, by one of the watering holes there were a group of cattle, so I slowed down in case any of them should bolt across the road. Also drinking from the watering hole was a elk doe. By the time I stop and hopped out to take her picture (with my phone) she had hi-tailed it into a draw. RATS, I'd have loved to have her picture. I knew there were elk out on the cattle land and the owner allows no hunting, to many steers shot over the years.

How about one of the tech savvy guys set up a survey here which will tell us how many veterans of the military and law enforcement we have.

You could get run out of that part of Texas for posting that. :beer:

I already do boycott movies with this group of idiots in them even if they're non-violent.

Exactly why I won't give up my guns, home invasions are growing here also. They'll only get worse as the Mexican drug gangs move in, they often kidnap even poorer people then demand ransoms to get them back alive.

I beat Tal, I was in bed by 10:30, I think I read for maybe a 1/2 hour before my nook fell on my chest.
