  1. Welcome
  2. The quality is great, I like it I just hope the shop has a 42" in coyote.
  3. Glad to have you.
  4. I'm pretty sure the gun shop I use will let me swap for the 42" bag plus any difference. If they don't they'll lose one of their loyal customers, who has spent a lot of money in it. I payed $96 and change, a bit more than straight from voodoo, but I probably saved considering shipping. The local box store wants $120 for the same bag. So if for some reason they won't exchange it, I like to get my money back or I couls keep it for my Spike's Tactical ST-15 which fits in it wonderfully and has enough pockets to carry all the accessories for it.
  5. Rats wasted trip to the gun store, no sabot slugs yet. Then I bought a 36" Voodoo Tactical 2-rifle bag I was going to modify to hold the Mossberg with the 18.5" barrel installed and put the other 2 barrels (24" rifled & 28") on the other side. I measured the length with both the longer barels on, no one made a bag for one that long for either set-up. I was told :o a 36" bag would hold a 18.5" barreled home defense shotgun so I didn't measure it :bang: Wrong the gun measures 38.5", so now I have to go swap the bag out for the 42" bag
  6. Picking up some ammo today, I hope, if so I'll shoot it tomorrow after my Tactical .22 match.
  7. I'm not a fan of the flying brass thing, I have a mark over my right collar bone where a piece of hot 5.56mm brass went inside shirt and seared my skin royally. I have a rightie .22 bolt-action I shoot off of a bi-pod, but to shoot off hand standing is a hassle and borderline unsafe so I don't do it. I can deal with semi-autos, and pistols made for righties, but would really like to have a good left handed .22 bolt-action. To answer my own question Savage does make the Mk II in a left hand version. $240 according to their site.
  8. I wonder if they make it for lefties.
  9. Ooolala :thumb:
  10. Mind of their own is a good bet???. I shoot with enough people monthly using 10/22s to know each has their favorite or maybe it is the rifles favorite ammo. Some swear by the Blazers, others like Winchesters, I like the Federal auto match. I seen people use each others ammo in their guns and have problems, it made no difference if the owner of the ammo's gun ran great with it.
  11. Looks like it would make it easier to manipluate it while wearing gloves also. Good job!
  12. I did my requalification for my NM Concealed Carry this morning. NM requires you qualifiy with largest caliber you plan to carry, and with the type of pistol you'll carry concealed (revolver, semi-automatic or both). Most people just qualify with .45acp caliber and shoot both revolver and automatic. Luckily the gun shop I frequent also teaches the course and has loaner pistols in 45 semi and revolver for those who don't have them. You have to buy their ammo to use in their pistols, which was $20. He didn't charge me for my ammo for his revolver because my wife and I have bought 5 gun there, I buy most of my ammo, alot of accessories and I've steered quite a few people to them. The requalification itself was $40. The course of fire is 10 rounds at 7 yards and 15 rounds at 3 yards for both types of pistols. Pretty hard to not qualify if you doing any shooting at all. Afterwards they have a fun drill, today they did modified an El Presidente. Weather was nice, shooting is almost always fun so it was a good day.
  13. Welcome , rifle sounds like a smile maker!
  14. I'll be using Federal Power-Shok Hollow Point Sabot Slugs or Federal Vital-Shok Barnes Expander Sabot Slugs. I didn't catch it when I ordered the barrel & scope set-up but the barrel is ported.
  15. Here it is not a very good picture but it is a rainy dreary day here so open the blinds in the sunroom didn't add much light.
  16. So did the come out with it this summer? I love my RIA 1911, but they have a tendency to miss release dates on new guns by miles.
  17. Plus there is no market for the steel cases like for brass.
  18. I've got to do my 2 year range requalification this Sunday to keep my NM CCL. It was one of the dumb requirements the liberals stuck into the system to make it difficult on people who want one. Slowly but surely we are repealing to dumb parts. If next years election goes as it should 2013 should see the end of all the stupid parts. BTW I carry only 2 pistols Citadel 3.5" 1911 or a Kel Tec P-3AT when it is shorts weather.
  19. You're not a foreigner, you're citizen of Tactical22, and BATFE didn't use stimulas money to buy you your rifle!
  20. That is great!
  21. A very good price, never used Tula .45acp, their .223 worked fine for me.
  22. I guess they didn't know everything in the Disney parks is cooked in pig fat >:D

    Finally...

I miss my ex-wife but my aim is improving ::)
  24. Pics coming by the weekend. I think I've found a Voodoo Tactical bag/case a simple modification will let me transport the shotgun and all the barrels without any clanging or banging together.
