  1. I'm not sure that assumption is correct. A barrel with cylinder bore choke should produce the widest pattern.
  2. Welcome glad you joined us.
  3. I have a Mossberg 500 which came with 2 barrels (18.5" Security and 28" with modified choke). I'm considering adding a 24" fully rifled barrel to the set to give me a well rounded shotgun for any occassion. Any thoughts?
  4. Glad to have you :thumb:
  5. I've always like SFs Calling/Death Cards, they've been around for quite some time. I worked for a Technical Sergeant back in the late 70s who had been SF during Viet Nam before being wounded badly enough to to force him out of SF (no more parachuting) but he was able to cross over to the Air Force and stay in the military. He showed us his cards back then and photos of them left on kills. Cool stuff when your 18,19 or 20 years old.
  6. Glad to have you.
  7. Glad to hear you're getting some rain. This is the time of the year we get most of our rain in NM, but it better get busy if we are even going to come close to our average (8-10 inches).
  8. Gasp, gasp are they sellf loading ::)
  9. Glad to have you and welcome.
  10. Yelp and just me and my bullets :-[
  11. Now that is different, not sure I want to know home much.
  12. The price is right especially considering the name.
  13. 10 rd magazines are as bad as being asked to eat only one Lays potato chip!
  14. 500 62gr bullets for .223. 500 200gr .45acp bullets.
  15. My wife's XD .45 loader works on the same principle and certainly saves fingers with those mags.
  16. I've looked at the drums for 10/22s several times and have always decided to stick with the 25rd magazines. They are easier to carry and if you can find a loader a snap. Do the drums rattle?
  17. Dang I thought it was gonna be a pool with winner take all
  18. Hurray for the Red, White & Blue!
  19. One of the star of Mad Men.
  20. glad you joined us.
  21. Hopefully it will just be ash, don't leave it on the vehicles to long it is a pain to get off after it dries.
  22. I don't know about hiding your safe but it needs to be damn near impossible to move. Otherwise thieves will just bring a dolly. My cabinet, I can't afford a safe yet, is lag bolted in 4 places into the wall studs, plus it is fastened into the concrete slab beneath it in 3 places using a power shot. I'd say if you can make it look like part of the house I'd go for it.
  23. According to a report Christinia Hendrick's gown stoled the show. The report is obviously gay. I say it was the amount of exposed giggily puffs above the gown.
  24. That is the number 1 reason I've never gotten rid of my Browning Buckmark Camper. The angle of the grip matches my 1911A1 exactly, plus most of the control are in approximately the same locations and work the same. Some day when the extra cash is there I'll buy one of the 1911-.22s but no need to right now.
  25. Welcome Ernie. Looks like an interesting find. It looks like some of the older Armscor M1600-22, they had wooden stocks also.
