I've only been out twice with mine since i put it on. May not have been the best choice for NM's intense sunlight, but it works and is easy to adjust. I'm just going to need to spend time with it to get use to it.

I've finally decided on my next gun! So after much hemming and hawing, a few Jameson's Irish whiskey, numerous bottle of various brands of beer I've decided on the S&W Governor. The 45acp in moon clips sold me, because I've always wanted a S&W Model 1917 aka Model 22. Plus I like the idea of 45 Colt and .410 capability in the same revolver is a plus. I spend enough time out in the NM high desert to make the .410 round a good carry for snakes. I know the Judge owners here are going give me a hard time, but oh well.

Cold Steel makes some kick-ass looking knives and they're reasonable priced also. They have one called the Spartan which I like a lot.

I have a Sightmark on my Buckmark Camper and it has never shut off like that. Good luck with Sightmark let us know how they did.

Price looks good, less than 4 cents a round, but once you add in shipping maybe not so good.

I've tried these but not in a semi-auto only in a bolt-action they worked fine, but mustn't have made much of an impression over others because I've never bought more after the first couple of boxes. That is pretty cool they'll work in the Colt, I check to see if my gun shop still has any and try a box in my 10-22.

Not a fan of taking magazines apart and cleaning them, I just use the air hose on them.

I hate seeing articles like this, because in reading them you know tons of information was left out. Thanks edgecrusher. I can see the exchange with the father over the micro vs the 16" and can read all the years of coaching little league and parents into it.

I think it is great for fathers to teach their kids to shoot, although I think this father used very poor judgement. Instead of taking pictures he should have been right beside the boy prepared for anything. Not having been there to see what happened, what instructions he was given I'll not second guess. I know 8 year olds I'd trust with a .22 or a .410 as long as they were under direct responsible adult supervision. We have a girl at that age group who shoots in our tactical .22 matches, her Uncle is always right at her side, ready! Responsible is the key word, cause I know adults I wouldn't trust with a gun or go shooting with. The writer of the article screwed up when he said the incident had gotten international attention, excuse me the Brady Brainless Bunch are not international attention, they're lying liberal leftist lunatics.

I've had my 92 FS for 3 years and can't ever remember a single problem. the grip is a bit big for my hand but I found out how to solve that by putting the original grips back on. As much as I like my BBQ grips they are to thick.

How many round through the pistol, if it isn't 250 to 500 I'd leave the mags alone, especially if it only happended once.

Sorry bad idea! You fire a gun in the Albuquerque Metro area on the 4th of July or New Years, you are going to jail, if one of your neighbors doesn't shoot you first, I be a shooting neighbor. We've had to many incidents of gangbangers firing into the air on those holidays and innocent people being injured or killed by bullets returning to earth. Sorry I definitely advise against it, even knowing the wad from a blank shot into the air would do no damage when it came back down. Blanks have a purpose but celebrating isn't one of them.

The gun shop I use has a waiting list for the PRM-30 I think he told me they have 18 people on the list. I'm number 14, but really haven't decided yet.

Well your cost are compareable to NM's and time is about the same we require 16 hours, so you have to give up a whole weekend. Ours are only good for 4 years, pulse you have to do a 2 year range requalification, usually not more than a couple of hours time. Hopefully the 2 year requal will go away this coming legislative session. The range portion here is a piece of cake for anyone with just a minimum of training.

Glad to have ya :thumb:

I use 40gr because they are round nosed, most of the lighter ones are hollow point and I've have had a few feeding issues with hps. I don't know about the lighter one as far as being more stable they should be faster.
