  1. Waiting for eeyore's target to arrive, then judging will occur. C:-)
  2. I have two entries, but I have not checked the PO box since lest Thursday. Well, I guess the judging will be easy.

  4. It was more of a blunder buss...... :o
  5. Thank your sir, and good luck also!
  6. Thanks, and good luck!
  7. I used to hunt when I lived in California, pheasant, quail and rabbit. Wascilly wabbit.
  8. Hello Steve, and Welcome!
  9. Well, yeah... But a lot cheaper than replacing the slide (bolt), which was what was hitting your bumper.
  10. Hi Tom, Welcome from Toledo.
  11. Well, never received the scope, and getting information from the company, Kalinka Optics was like pulling teeth. Wouldn't have minded that so much, but they charged me for the scope, then never bothered to inform me it was back ordered from the mother country. After several months, they could not commit to a ship date. Finally got my money back. Why do companies advertise products they don't have? Picked up a Nikon p223 for my project from Amazon and it works great.
  12. Consider it officially extended a week.
  13. Thanks. We had one other colt owner with a broken bumper.... If I remember correctly, (don't bet on it), he was using HV ammo with his recoil spring adjusted for std velocity ammo, so the spring wasn't soaking up all of the recoil, and the slide(bolt) would hit the bumper every shot. When these Colts first came out, there were several different methods out there for setting the recoil spring. I saw a utube video that specified 9 turns in, and set mine that way. Ended up ruining the spring. In an email from customer service they said flush for std, in 4 turns for HV. But, in your case, at least the inexpensive part broke.
  14. What part#'s are we talking about here?
  15. I would check parts 45,46, & 47. I am guessing either the spring is broken, or as Drew suggested unburned powder mixed with lube oil, solidified and caused the extractor to freeze in place.
  16. +1 on the above. Is it extracting the brass from the chamber and not ejecting? Or just leaving it in the chamber?
  17. I am thinking I will extend the match a week......
  18. Yes sir I did - so far, you are the Top Shot.... BTW, nice shooting! :thumb:
  19. Well, I have been very underwhelmed either by the response, or the mail delivery. I have one entry, so judging will be simple....
  20. As long as the outside diameter of the 6 ring is 7.5 inches, you're good!
  21. Welcome to the forum! Nice rifle, I sure like my Colt, but I paid a lot more than you did....... BTW, there is a guy in Colorado Springs that did a trigger job on mine. $45. Let me know if you are interested and I will post his info. You should enter our Postal Match, read about it HERE.
  22. My bad, thought you were trying to enter that. :-[ TM
  23. Dougie - PM inbound to ya.
  24. Nice shooting! To answer your question, sorry, but no. It is a Postal Match, not an email match, and everyone has to use the same target, otherwise it would not be fair. TM
  25. Cool, thanks Smurf :thumb:
