Well I took the plunge, ordered the Smith from Buds Gun Shop, Louiseville, Ky. $422.00 out the door. My local shop gets $28.00 for a transfer. I decided I wanted the shorter barrel of the Smith over the H&K. Retail was $595.00.

I ran this film several times in slo-mo and got a REALLY GOOD look at the magazines that will be supplied with the new licensed HK .22's. From studying all 4 sides and top and bottom these are the same magazines supplied with the Colt/Umarex, only 10 or 20 rounders with the pistol. My 30's will be mighty fine hanging off the bottom of that badboy pistol. Get 'em in the pipeline Umarex !!!! This gun has got me really ready to buy!! :beer:

There's nothing more pleasant than an outing with the bride, especially to something like a gun or car show. The craft fairs can get a little rugged to get thru, especially if the old crones are blocking the isles. :laugh:

How many of you guys are licensed to carry? Any problems getting one in your state? I'm on my 3rd renewal here and the law just changed- we can renew by mail beginning in July. For you guys in anti-gun areas the Northern Virginia area is massively anti-gun. The rest of the state is neutral or pro-gun. Our most populous area is Northern Virginia around the District of Columbia. Here we progunners have the VCDL, The Virginia Citizens Defense League. This is a statewide organisation devoted to lobbying, educating the public, and challeging improper enforcement and incorrect interpretation of our state gun laws. It is strictly grass roots and has an excellent record of influencing our state legislature on gun laws. If this organisation did not exist it would be a bleak scene indeed here in Va for gun owners. You guys in anti-gun states can have an influence, look to the VCDL and how they have accomplished much.

My dust cover would close, but I ordered an engraved one. It was supplied by DPMS to the engraver and it does not close.....
