  1. Well took the plunge and booked a vacation to Cody, Wy in September. It's just outside the east gate of Yellowstone NP, not far from Grand Teton NP. Also the Buffalo Bill Historical Society, gun museum, plains Indian museum, etc. This museum is the largest exhibit of American arms in the world. We are thrilled to be able to make this trip, combining our interests of sightseeing, birdwatching, history, and guns guns guns. We can only stay for 4 full days, but we are gonna pack in a month's worth of lookin'....

  6. Ever notice how ALL men keep in mind the SERIOUS STUFF ( guns, ammo, accessories)while the women keep nuisance-type articles( washers, dryers, furnaces, etc.)on their minds? ;D
  7. I've noticed a lot of ammo on the shelves, but the price HAS NOT gone back down yet....
  8. Isn't that a great photo of the coyote on the front cover? When I was a kid ( the 1950's) in North Texas ( Burkburnett) my grandparents lived across the Red River in Grandfield, Oklahoma. We would cross the river, go north about 5 miles and turn west on US 70 for 13 miles to Grandfield. The barbed-wire fences next to the roadway were strung on cedar posts which were cut down in the low-lying draws across the plains. These posts were tough and rot-resistant, about 10 feet apart. Back then Oklahoma paid a bounty on coyote ears- after we made our turn west EVERY single fence post for 13 MILES had an earless coyote hanging from it....The only way for the cattle to survive and keep their calves....This was a sight seen EVERY year.
  9. I'm just the opposite, My body time is this shift, I love light in the evening..... :thumb:
  10. I do believe everything on the weapon is Cali-legal except the magazine. The .22 is exempt from the ''evil features'' list, but the magazine must be pinned or replaced by a 10 rounder. Please correct me if I'm wrong, guys.
  11. Chamber then one at a time and ''fire'' them....this will enable you to recover the cases....

  19. Guys this little ASUS laptop is the cat's whiskers for surfing the net when you are away from home or you don't have hands-on access to a computer at work. My son had it and gave it to me when he got his new Dell. It ran about $300.00 bucks 18 months ago....The actual picture screen is the size of a dollar bill, the keyboard is small but you get used to it. I keep it in my toolbox drawer at work so I can surf tactical22.net at lunch....LOL
