First I've heard also, but why not? I mean, most of the components are already in stock.

Cool. I see they received the new BDM polymer drum mag that Legacy was telling me about. My drum mag was steel and a real stumbling point for the little carbine.

I've handled several M101s but it's been awhile. I don't feel qualified to answer without examining the pistol.

I'll see if I can get that accomplished.

I own one of these and find it reliable, accurate and downright cool. Unfortunately, the 50 rnd drum magazine malfunctioned constantly, which I read is the norm. Legacy replaced it with (2) 30 rnd stick mags from Black Dog Machining that function flawlessly. Mine is the Wildcat version with the collapsable stock.

I've sold quite a few but never fired own. I always found them confusing.
