Frank, I hear your dog knows how to play poker. That's true Bill. That must be the smartest dog in the world. Oh, I don't know if I'd go that far, he's not so smart. His tail wags whenever he gets a good hand.

Just ordered me one with wood furniture.

Live in central Florida. Own LOTS of rimfires. Kinda new to tactical rimfires. I guess my first tactical 22 was a Colt Ace. Recently (last 2 or 3 years) I've bought a Kimber Rimfire Target 1911, a GSG-5, a Colt M4 OPS, a Puma PPS, a Sig P226 Classic 22, a CZ Kadet, a Walther P22, a ISSC M22 and just ordered me a GSG Kalashnikov. I guess I kinda like these tactical 22s. This in addition to my centerfire addiction. God help me.

Just fired off 60 rnds of Remington 550 from the new stick magazines. Went through the rifle like poop through a goose. Only 1 FT Fire (light strike). Put it back through and it went off second time around. If you insert a full magazine with the bolt closed it doesn't want to feed that round when you cycle the bolt. Since the bolt hold open only works with an empty mag in place it's best to retract the bolt, hold it open, insert the loaded mag then release the bolt. No problems this way. Woo Hoo!

The (2) 30 rnd replacement magazines arrived. They're mfg by Black Dog Machine. They look reasonable well made. Plastic feed lips. Follower extends into receiver when empty acting as a bolt stop. The drum mag didn't do this. I'll let y'all know how they function.

I believe they make them for many different rifle models. I am a member at FNF although I rarely visit and almost never contribute. Those guys know WAY more about FN's than I do.

I've wasted more money on slings (and holsters) than I care to admit. The absolutly, hands down finest tactical sling I've ever purchased, or used, is the URBAN E.R.T sling I installed on my FN FS2000.

Holy crap! New England is sure taking the England part seriously huh?
-
They're still available in .22lr with either 50 or 100 round magazines. It's called the Liberty III model I believe.
-
I own one. A Rimfire Target 5". Shoots and looks great.

I gotta say, one fine collection (with the possible exception of the Sigma, sorry) You've got everything covered fron Big Bad Guys, Big Black Bullseyes to Big Bad Bears. Whaddaya plink rodents with?

We purchased a used Henry Survival rifle from a guy the other day. The rifle's detachable butt cap was split from use/abuse so we got a good deal. It came out for sale last week (Florida law requires we hold it for 30 days before we can resell it) and we called Henry for a replacement butt cap. No arguments, just wanted to know the color and our address so they could ship us (2) butt caps, free of charge! We received the two butt caps a week later without a single charge to us. These guys really do stand behind their products.

Yep, I'm leaning toward the wood myself, if I order one.
-
It's not a Ruger exactly. It's a Volquartsen. I own (2). This one in .17HM2 and another in .22lr. The 10/22 is the most versatile rimfire rifle in existance.

Ellett Brothers Wholesale just got a batch in. Anyone have any experience with them? I have a GSG-5 and like it. I'd think the AK-47 would be in the same league. They offer the polymer stock with lots of picatinny rails or the traditional wooden stock, both the same price. Should I treat myself and which one?
-
I own (2) dedicated .22lr 1911's. Both are built on centerfire frames so I assume they could be converted back to centerfire. The Colt Ace is all blued steel and is stunningly beautiful, but sadly, only moderately accurate. I blame the floating chamber for this. The Kimber Rimfire Target is all aluminum with a much simpler finish and is wonderfully accurate. Both accept the same magazines. If the Ace would shoot like the Kimber, life would be complete. I fondle the Colt and shoot the Kimber.

It's a simple tried and true steel tube receiver design that uses the charging handle to locate the bolt and shoots very well. At least the 20 or 30 rounds I was able to get through it. It has a very even pleasing matte black finish.

Mine works great. Love it.

TruGlo.

The only things I've done to mine is claw mount, TruGlo and (2) extra mags with clamp. I like it the way it came. I'll probably upgrade the screw set, but so far no problems.

Just bought a GSG-5 - Added Pictures!

With all those goodies you stole that piece. There may be a warrant out on you. :) -
I've got this same Tru Glo on my GSG-5 and really like it.
