Lulu, a 10 yo mixed breed suffered a stroke Monday before last and died 4 days later. She will be missed. On the up side we went and bought a new puppy, a 9 week old Harlequin Great Dane puppy with crystal blue eyes that's been dubbed Dammit. She's beautiful and playful but our 7 yo Boxer, Bijou, doesn't quite know what to think and hides all her squeaky toys from her. She'll most likely top out at 140-150 lbs. God help us.

Good luck on that. I reloaded some .17 Rem. once. It took like 2 minutes per cartridge to get the powder down that tiny neck.

I guess the .17HMR has dominated this midget cartridge varmint rifle market and will probable continue to do so, but very cool none the less.

This seriously badass Savage just came out of pawn. 10-shot .308 bolt action. Scope is very nice also but inappropriate for this rifle IMO.

This week I'm wearing a favorite, my Springfield EMP 9mm in a Galco leather holster. And as usual, my Kahr P380 in my back pocket.

This week I wore the SIG P226 .357Sig in a Blackhawk CQB holster. Great pistol although a little large for my hands.

It seems to me that cheap unreliable .22 rimfire ammo is becoming more common these days. At one time this concern was less of a problem so no need for such a redesign, but with the crappy ammo proliferating today maybe a fix like this could be a viable option. I'd suggest though that everyone just purchase quality ammo which doesn't appear to suffer these failings.
