  1. This is my set up and it is considerably lighter with the CMMG upper installed. Mostly because of the Surefire Light and aluminum quad rail on the 5.56 upper.
  2. Good to hear and thanks.
  3. Welcome, I was recently introduced to dedicated 22lr uppers for the AR15 by imschur and I like the CMMG Sierra I purchased better than any of the current crop of dedicated 22lr tactical rifles I've owned or seen. It'll mount right up to your AR15 lower in just seconds and is generally of better quality than the clones. Check them out.
  4. Glad to meet you. HK is now marketing a .22lr look alike version of their MP5. You might want to check into these as well.
  5. Welcome to T22. One of our British members is a long time G22 user. Good chance someone will be able to help you.
  6. That looks good, very good. Good thing you cut the barrel down 3". Wow!

I just checked the distributors we use and none had Governers in stock.
  8. The muzzle brake appears to be a fine piece. So far so good. :thumb:
  9. Damn, that's a fine looking S&W. You for hire? ;D

.45ACP, .45Colt and .410! Does it cook dinner and sew on buttons as well? That's a revolver for any occasion.
  11. A CMMG upper is what Drew talked me into. Actually he just needed to tempt me with a photo, I'm a sucker for 22s. So far the CMMG is the best tactical 22 I own followed by my Puma PPS. The other tactical22s I own I rate in order: Colt M4 OPS Remington 597 VTR GSG-5 SIG 522 GSG Kalashnikov
  12. Drew, I hate the really crappy Ncstar folding sights I bought for my new CMMG upper and was thinking of these MBUS as a replacement. Would you recommend them, knowing that if they don't work out for me it'll be no big loss? They look SO much better than the Ncstars.
  13. Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'm leaning toward a Blackhawk! Discrete case.
  14. We offer the CCW classes here in Florida for $75. All is required is a 4 hour lecture and the firing of a few rounds.
  15. Saw it on TV and liked it. Just ordered me one.
  16. What a great idea, I'd love one. Thanks. :thumb:
  17. Sounds like a tactical 22 to be proud of. Pictures will be required as per rule 24.7-6a.
  18. I've heard by fall, but I've been lied to before.
  19. Good to hear your rifle is performing well, sorry to hear your sight isn't. Hopefully Sight Mark will get you sorted.
  20. :thumb: Ultrasonic
  21. Shooting pigs is fun, fun, fun. :thumb:
  22. Coolio. And, as usual, photos will be required.
  23. The AK74 muzzle brake is for the 5.45x39mm caliber. Will the larger 7.62 caliber bullet of your Mosin fit through the exit hole? My experience with Richard's micro fit stocks is that they come semi-inletted requiring you to finish the inletting. Stock inletting experience will be helpful.
  24. I wield it with instinctive aim.
