Unseen by you, my jaw has dropped open and is resting on the desk top whilst drool is severely damaging my keyboard. When you play you play for real. So, have you decided on a .45 host yet?
Frank, proud of his brand new wristwatch, was showing it to his buddy George. George tells Frank that he used to own a nice watch similar to Frank's, it was waterproof down to 500 meters, shock proof, corrosion proof, anti-magnetic, scratch proof, fracture proof crystal and impossible to overwind. Franks replies "nice, whatever happened to it?" "It caught fire."
Damn, now you've got me craving a CMMG .22lr upper even more. I just signed up as a dealer with CMMG, we'll see what kind of good prices we'll get. When I do find me a CMMG upper my Colt M4 OPS will go up for sale.
I'm super fond of these. I have (2) of them, one on a Volquartsen and one on an Anschutz. I find them superior in their price range and they focus down to 30'. http://www.opticsplanet.net/bushnell-elite-4200-4-16x40mm-riflescope-rainguard-matte-finish-424164m.html
They've got a Saturn V rocket mounted horizontally on pillars at The Kennedy Space Center and let me tell you, it takes a while to stroll around that sucker!
Anyone with any experience? The CMMG uppers are all sold out from the wholesalers we use but they have the Chiappas in stock and they're $50 cheaper than the CMMG. My only experience with Chiappa was a bad one, a 1911-22 made by MKS in Ohio (Hi-Point) and it was junk but this upper is built in Italy and I've been told their Italian built products are much better. I'd like to try one. Any feedback? http://store.chiappafirearms.com/products/cartridge-firearms/rifles/m4-conversion-kit/m4-conversion-kit.html
The program is a source of pride for the US and the envy of the world. I think though we've wrung all the juice from the program and it's time for a new direction. Here's to the future.
Welcome to T22 andy. Tightening the recoil spring may be causing you rifle's failures to eject because you are slowing the speed of the recoiling bolt. Just a thought.
